Happy 6 Month Birthday Katelyn!

In honor of Katelyn's 6 month birthday, we went to a Dunkin Donuts nearby and let her watch us eat donuts!! Solid foods, here she comes (this week)! She's had lots of practice watching her mommy and daddy eat!

Fun with Aunt Brenner!

Here is Katelyn hanging out with her Aunt Brenner (Kristen's youngest sister). Really her name is Brittany, but this nickname was given when she came to visit us in China. One of our Chinese friend's couldn't pronounce "Brittany" very well, and it always came out "Brenner." ...So the name stuck, and that's what Brittany said she wanted Katelyn to call her. Because Brittany lives so close to us (she is a senior at UNT), we love that we get to see her often! Brittany and Katelyn even had a date on Valentine's Day while we went out for dinner!

Katelyn the Book Worm!

Look at the fun books that my great grandmother sent me!! I can't wait for mommy and daddy to read all of them to me! The books I got are "Goodnight Moon," "On the Night You Were Born," and "Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes!"

Ski Bunnies!

Our first ski trip to Taos, New Mexico as a family was so much fun! We enjoyed the time with Kristen's parents, the scenery was beautiful (including a snowstorm the night we arrived!), and Katelyn did great on the flights there and back. Not to mention, the ski conditions were wonderful! Mamaw (Kristen's mom) watched Katelyn the first day so that Kristen could ski with Dave and her dad. The next two days, Kristen, Katelyn, and Mamaw played around the ski village while Dave and Peepaw skiied! Between playing cards, skiiing, lounging around, cooking meals in the condo, and just enjoying each others company, it was a very fun trip! Next stop for the McCurdy family....The People's Republic of China!
