Katelyn is 11 months!

We just got back this past weekend from visiting Kristen's mom and dad in Austin and Dave's mom in Waco! It was a great time had by all! Below is Katelyn's 11 month picture, and as promised, some crawling footage!

Lovin' the Library!

Thought you would enjoy having a little taste of a few things Katelyn and I do every week! So every once in a while, I'm going to post pictures of our (fairly) consistent weekly activities! At least once during the week, we visit the library! Katelyn loves to read and scoot around to the toys! I'll post some scooting video footage soon, but for now, this picture will have to do!

And having nothing to do with library time, but fun to share...a recent family picture!

Happy Birthday Brodie!

One of Katelyn's friends Brodie turned 2 years old last week! Brodie calls Katelyn "Baby Kate" and gets really excited when we have playdates together! He had his party at a fun little kiddie water park, and Katelyn, loving water the way she does, had such a great time!

4th of July!

We enjoyed the 4th of July with our good friends James and Dangela Hill and their two daughters, Molly and Piper! Katelyn and Piper shared a double jogging stroller in the Hill's little neighborhood parade! It was so fun! Thanks to Mom and Pop Bradberry (Kristen's grandparents) for Katelyn's festive 4th of July outfit too! I also just noticed that Katelyn was using her blue and red sippy cup that day (see bottom picture)!! I totally didn't even plan that!

On a related note, the day before (July 3rd) was Dangela's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANGELA!), so the Hills actually invited us over for a sleepover, complete with dinner at Chucky Cheese and a yummy birthday cake back at the house! Once the kids all went down, the four of us stayed up and visited until all hours of the night (well, at least until 11 p.m.!). Crazy, I know! You just don't realize how much you miss out on that uninterrupted and meaningful adult conversation once you have kids! Definitely something you just have to be intentional about planning time for! It was a very special treat!
