Yes, Katelyn just turned 20 months old! Here is a sweet picture we took this past Saturday! My mom bought this cute outfit for her while we were in Austin for Easter.
Speaking of my mom, she is still doing great! She is actually coming in town for business this Thursday and will stay with us that night. We are really looking forward to seeing her!

Easter!!
A few days before Easter, we were perusing the aisles of Big Lots and Katelyn spotted a colorful butterfly garden decoration! She started yelling "Buddy! Buddy!" That means "Butterfly" in Katelynese! We called it an early Easter present, checked out, and immediately found a place for it in our backyard! Every morning Katelyn goes to the back door and looks out the window to say Hi to her "Buddy!" Such a small purchase for such great joy.
Also, here are a few pictures from our time in Austin over Easter!

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today is my Dad's 60th birthday! We came to Austin on Saturday, celebrated Easter on Sunday, and tonight we hosted a surprise party for my dad at a local restaurant with a few of his close friends! It was such a fun time, and he was really surprised!!
Also, my mom's next chemo treatment is this Thursday, April 16. We are praying that it goes as smoothly as her last one.

Pirates and Pixies!
Katelyn attended her first "themed" birthday party this past Sunday! Little Molly Hill turned three, and her party theme was "Pirates and Pixies!" It was so much fun! You could dress up as a pirate or pixie, and although we think Katelyn is cute in whatever she wears, we opted for the pixie look! So, for those of you who are looking for a cute party idea, you will love this! Upon arrival, Katelyn was greeted by a "real live" fairy and pirate. Not only did she have her picture made with the fairy (see below), she was given a list of fairy names to choose from! The nametag she chose said "Sugar Plum." Definitely a fitting name for such a sweet girl! Other party highlights included: A wand decorating station complete with glitter and sequins; a cupcake decorating station complete with homeade cupcakes, jelly beans and gumdrops; a face painting station...I could go on and on. Last but not least, party favors included pirate hats and fairy dust necklaces (including your very own little vile of "fairy dust"). I think it goes without saying that my friend Dangela (Molly's mom) is soooooo talented and creative when it comes to events like these! We were honored to be a part of it! So to sum it all up.....

Wait a Minute Mr. Postman!
One of Katelyn's new favorite things to do is check the mail! It is seriously the highlight of her (and my!) day! ...And it's extra special when we actually see the mailman deliver it! One week we were playing out front when he came, and he handed it directly to Katelyn! It was so sweet! Katelyn doesn't just like our mailbox, she likes all mailboxes! She makes a point to stop at each mailbox on our way to the park. It usually makes our walk twice as long, but she's happy, so that's what matters! Here is a little video that I took of her checking the mail. Enjoy!
And here is another picture that I just thought was too cute not to post!
